Lakota Beaded Saddle Cover

Native tanned deer hide, canvas, Venetian beads, cotton and sinew thread. Fringed on the sides and back edge. Two beaded panels, identical designs, with beaded band from panel to panel on the back end. Later addition of a canvas backing. Hide construction sewn with cotton thread. Beading sewn with sinew thread.

Condition: Very good condition. No bead loss. Water stain on the left side toward the rear of the cover. Some spot staining on right side.
