The frontier of the American West in the 19th century has been romanticized, but there is a reason for that! The lawmakers, the outlaws, the pioneers, the cowboys and the Indians, the vaqueros, and the miner 49ers – every last one a character and every last one a true part of American history. The old west may be gone forever, but its romance and ability to capture the imagination will never fade. Part of the collection of Western Americana at the Cameron Trading Post includes not only the bygone artifacts of Native American art but also the spurs, saddles, bridles, and other Western artifacts of the cowboys, vaqueros, and pioneers of the old West!
