Santa Clara Pottery

Santa Clara blackware pottery vase by Richard Ebelacker (1946-2010). Richard, the grandson of renowned Santa Clara potter, Margaret Tafoya, was born in 1946 and learned the art of pottery making at a young age. This award winning vase features two bear paw designs around the circumference above the shoulder. Signature “Richard Edelbacker Santa Clara Pueblo 73” on the bottom of the vase.

Condition: Very good, great gun metal finish, slight amount of restoration.
