Myron Charlie was born into the Navajo Nation in 1975. He began his interest in crafting pottery when he was 14 years old. Mr. Charlie was inspired by his mother, the well know Susie Charlie. Susie is credited for her etching on the popular Navajo pottery. She taught her son how to paint the colors on the pottery as well as etch his pottery free hand. Myron crafts all different shapes and sizes of pottery such as wedding vases and seed pots. He etches feather designs and other geometric designs. His enjoy accenting his pottery with inlayed quality turquoise stones. Myron is related to Susie Charlie (mother), Terri Charlie (sister), Brandon and Michael Charlie (brothers). He signs his pottery: Myron H. Charlie, “Navajo”.
