Description
Hopi Polychrome Pottery Jar, unsigned. One of Nampeyo's last pots she painted before she went blind, a classic olla with a strong shoulder and graceful flare. The Hopi jar has a painted red and black over cream slip with traditional symbols and other designs throughout the pot. Letter that verified Nampeyo made and painted this pot by Ed Wade with the Museum of Northern Arizona.
Condition: Excellent for age, has a few cracks, great coloration, no restoration.
