Native tanned deer hide, Venetian beads, porcupine quill, brass button, tin cones, sinew thread, cotton thread, pled wool yarn. Ute style with large triangular tab at the bottom. Fringed along the bottom and at the mouth. Beaded at the mouth and at the side seams. Strike a light pouch sewn on one side with quill wrapped fringe & brass closure button. Quilled fringe at drawstring pull terminating in tin cones with yarn decorations. Quilled fringe at the bottom with the same cone and yarn treatment.
Condition: Good condition. Some bead loss at the lip and bottom pendant. One half of drawstring decoration is missing. Approximately 70% quill loss on the other. Some quill loss at pendant and strike a light, less than 15%. Loss of wool tufts at cones.
