In Navajo, Upper Antelope Canyon is called "Tse bighanilini" - the place where water runs through rocks. It's entrance and entire length are at ground level, which requires no climbing. Beams, or "shafts" of sunlight, common during the summer months, radiate down from openings in the top of the canyon and move across the walls and floor, creating a breathtaking and otherworldly display of light. The beautiful photograph is by Kenan Sipilovic.
