Navajo Handmade Porcelain Doll
Beautiful Navajo Handmade Porcelain Doll by Cheryl Yazza. Cheryl is from the Four Corners area and has been making dolls since 1987. This doll is dressed in a teal cloth outfit that is decorated with a concho on the shirt and white leather fringe sewn below a strip of Yei patterned fabric. The doll is wearing a necklace made from block turquoise, magnesite, hematite, heishi, and red beads. The dolls hairstyle has two braids coming down with ribbons intertwine. The artist made the doll from scratch making it one of a kind.
