Helen Cordero Grandfather Storyteller

From Cochiti Pueblo, Helen Cordero was the first Pueblo artisan to make a "Storyteller" inspired by the storytelling skills of her grandfather, Santiago Quintana. Her idea caught on quickly and soon many of her family and pottery artists from Cochiti and other pueblos began making their own style of storyteller.

Condition: Very good condition. Some rubbing of the paint on the soles of his moccasins and the back of his head.
