Standing singing with a drum. From Cochiti Pueblo, Helen Cordero was the first Pueblo artisan to make a "Storyteller" inspired by the storytelling skills of her grandfather, Santiago Quintana. Her idea caught on quickly and soon many of her family and pottery artists from Cochiti and other pueblos began making their own style of storyteller.

Condition: Very good condition. Small chip to the bottom lip, missing his drumstick. Chip to the back of his right moccasin, back of his head, and three other small places.
